The MediaOne M50BT full-range powered studio monitors deliver big, perfectly balanced sound. The built-in Class AB amplifier delivers 40 watts per channel with plenty of headroom. Lightweight woven carbon-fiber woofers with butyl surrounds and tuned cabinet porting keep the bass tight and punchy. A switchable Bass Boost circuit further fattens the low end. Silk-dome 3/4-inch tweeters deliver clear, crisp, high-end sound that's never harsh. Custom waveguides provide smooth highs and a wider listening area.

The front panel features an easy-access volume control that doubles as a power switch. A power-saving standby mode automatically puts the system to sleep until needed. The front panel also includes a headphone output that allows for private monitoring by muting the speaker outputs. The rear panel features stereo RCA and 1/8" (3.5mm) input jacks and a 1/8" (3.5mm) stereo output for connecting the M50BT to a powered subwoofer to create a 2.1-channel system.
